Today, Danni Thason will share news of his stem cell work as part of the celebration of National Cord Blood Awareness Month. This month is dedicated to educating families on the life-saving potential of stem cells found in umbilical cord blood and tissue. It highlights the importance of banking or donating these cells to treat blood cancers and disorders.
Please join us next Sunday for our Back-to-School Service as we pray for our children and youth, their parents, and our teachers who are going back to school next week.

The annual offering for Murphy-Harpst Children's Centers will be received on August 9, as we join with other United Methodist congregations. Located in Cedartown, Georgia, Murphy-Harpst is an independent not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of abused and neglected young people. It provides a safe and nurturing place for abused children and teenagers.
Our Annual Camp Meeting Services will be celebrated again this year, four Sundays in August. We invite everyone’s prayers and participation in these services of renewal and witness to Jesus. As usual, we are inviting the following communities of faith to lead the worship on the following
Sundays:
August 9th - Online Community
August 16th - In-Person Community
August 23rd - African Community
August 30th - Caribbean Community, followed by our Annual Potluck Luncheon
