Upcoming Worship Services and Events

Monday, January 19, is the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. It serves as a day of remembrance for Rev. Dr. King, an African American clergyman and civil rights leader. He was fatally shot on April 4, 1968, at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. We pray for all persons whose civil rights are still being infringed upon in our time.

January 22: Our Conference is inviting all members of Church Councils to attend the Conference ZOOM Training Seminar on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The Seminar is called “Launching Your Church Council” and offers training in the various roles of members of the Church Council. Interested members are also invited to attend. The Conference asks everyone to register at the link below and choose the committee you are on or are interested in serving on. If you experience any issues with registration, please let me know.

February marks Black History Month, a tradition that honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape our nation. It celebrates the rich cultural heritage, triumphs, and adversities that are an indelible part of our country’s history. Please suggest your favorite Afro-American spirituals that we may sing.
