The annual offering for Murphy-Harpst Children's Centers will be received on August 9, as we join with other United Methodist congregations. Located in Cedartown, Georgia, Murphy-Harpst is an independent not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of abused and neglected young people. It provides a safe and nurturing place for abused children and teenagers.
Our Annual Camp Meeting Services will be celebrated again this year, four Sundays in August. We invite everyone’s prayers and participation in these services of renewal and witness to Jesus. As usual, we are inviting the following communities of faith to lead the worship on the following
Sundays:
August 9th - Online Community
August 16th - In-Person Community
August 23rd - African Community
August 30th - Caribbean Community, followed by our Annual Potluck Luncheon
On August 30, we are inviting everyone to attend and bring a “dish” to our Annual Covered Dish/Potluck Luncheon immediately after worship in the Fellowship Hall.
In order to help us plan appropriately for the luncheon, please let Joyce Wilbert know or click on the following link
to let us know what dish/dessert you will be bringing.
Joyce Wilbert will need a final count by Monday, August 24.
Flower Calendar is available for people to sign up to give flowers in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The last three Sundays of each month are available. Online worshippers can let Marita know at mworrel20@aol.com.
